
PIPPA DUFFY, Director
Pippa is an Actress, Singing Teacher, Director and Rep Coach. In 2022 Pippa was Awarded the honour of Associate of the Royal Academy Of Music for her work in Musical Theatre.
As Director: For ARU: ‘Carrie’, ‘Alice By Heart’, ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ and ’25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee’, For Bodywork Performing Arts: ‘Cinderella’, ‘She Loves Me’, ‘Mean Girls’ (her own studio adaptation), For London’s City Academy: ’Company’, ‘Into The Woods’, ’Urinetown’, ‘Sweeney Todd’ ‘Assassins’ ‘Songs For A New World’ (which included Jason Robert Brown himself in its audience!) ’How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’, ‘Cabaret’, ‘The Witches of Eastwick’ and ‘Sweet Charity’. Pippa has written and directed the pantomimes ‘Cinderella’, ‘Dick Whittington’, ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty’.
During lockdown Pippa and West End Musical Director Leigh Thompson virtually directed three filmed Song Cycles with their Company Song Cycle intensive, creating a Kander and Ebb, a Disney, and a Sondheim show. Part of the aim of this project was charitable, supporting young performers to keep up morale and career focus during the lockdown.
