David Barrett

Co-Director & Choreographer

A graduate of Mountview Theatre School, David is currently the Theatre Practitioner in residence at The Perse School in Cambridge. Prior to this, David worked in the theatre industry for twenty years as both a performer and creative.

David has also worked extensively as a lead production vocalist for P&O, Princess and Norwegian Cruise Lines, as well as appearing in and creating numerous pantomimes around the country.


Helen Petrovna

Co-Director & Choreographer

Helen studied at Bodywork Company Dance Studios and furthered her training at The Collaborative Arts Project (CAP21) in New York City.

Helen played the part of Brooke Wyndham in the professional production of Legally Blonde title at Aberystwyth Arts Centre; and, understudy for Elle & Vivien, dance captain and jumprope coach in the Number 1 National Tour of Legally Blonde The Musical.

Previous professional theatre credits include Graziella in West Side Story (Larnaca Amphitheatre), West End Rocks (UK Tour), “An Evening on the Westside” (Bernstein Celebration UK Concert Tour), Les Miserables in Concert (UK), Jemima in Cats (UK), Singer/Dancer for Universal (Osaka, Japan), Katherine in Wine Lovers The Musical (NCL), Serena in Legally Blonde The Musical (NCL), The Slave of the Ring in Aladdin (Mansfield Palace Theatre), all female roles in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express in Germany – including the lead role of ‘Pearl’, Tinkerbell in Peter Pan (Anvil Theatre).

Helen runs a local group teaching parents to roller skate with prams and a jumprope account on Instagram under @hpskips


Jennifer Edmonds

Musical Director

Jennifer moved to Cambridge to complete a music degree in 1994.  After working around the UK as a Musical Director, more recent years have seen Jennifer working in music and performing arts education and management, in various roles at colleges in Cambridge and London.

Musical Director/Supervisor includes:
Velma Celli shows (Hippodrome, Leicester Square) with artists including Kerry Ellis, Louise Dearman, Julie Atherton.  Christina Bianco and Ian Stroughair (Brighton Ballroom).

Musicals include; Calendar Girls, Chicago, Legally Blonde, Bring It On, Our House, Spring Awakening, Batboy, We Will Rock You, City of Angels, High School Musical, Nine, 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee, A Chorus Line, Sister Act, Fame, Annie, Little Shop of Horrors, Godspell, Starlight Express, Grease, Little Women, Bugsy Malone, Fing’s Ain’t Wot They Used To Be, Oh What a Lovely War.

Musical Director/Supervisor – Touring:
Fame (UK), Various tours for Hurricane Entertainments and Surefire Entertainment Ltd with artists including the Nolan Sisters, Maggie Moone, Lydia Griffiths, Mark Rattray, Mal Pope, Craig Douglas, Susan Maughan, The Black Abbotts.

Jennifer currently teaches singing at Urdang, London and ‘The Dang Collective’, where she is also Contextual Studies Coordinator.   In addition, Jennifer is very excited to be working with MT composer Drew Gasparini, workshopping his song cycle/album ‘We Aren’t Kids Anymore’.
